Scouting is a year-round program therefore recruitment requires a year-round effort that allows families to join Scouting any time. The goal of year-round recruitment is to provide young people with the opportunity to join Scouting and ultimately receive the full benefits of our youth development program. A variety of of resources are available below to assist with planning your recruitment efforts.

Populate your pin

BeAScout is an online portal for prospective families to learn about Scouting programs in their neighborhoods. Parents will simply go to and type in your zip code to find the closest Scouting unit in their area. 

Unit leaders should update their "unit pin" in order to display the most accurate information about their unit.
