March 21, 2015 - Special Webelos Crossover Ceremony with the Indiana Pacers - NEW!  Calling all Scouts, come out and support this year's group of second year Webelos crossover the ceremonial bridge on the Pacers court following the game.   If you are a second year Webelos or a new Boy Scout that just crossed over you can go on the court and be a part of the ceremony!   Or you can just come out and get a great deal to see the Pacers!  Click here for the flyer.

March 21, 2015 - 3rd Annual Al White Memorial Trail Hike - The Al White Trail is a 5.75 mile trek through scenic Bradford Woods near Martinsville, Indiana. The trail is named in memory of long time Scoutmaster, Al White. Al and his wife, Violet, along with 72 other people, died in an October 1963 propane gas explosion at a Holiday on Ice Show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Coliseum. The trail was originally dedicated in his honor on April 30, 1966. The trail closed in 2002 after 36 years of operation. Through a continued relationship between the Wundchenneu chapter of the Order of the Arrow and Bradford Woods, the trail reopened on March 9, 2013 after over a decade on inactivity.  Click here for the flyer. March 23 - April 18, 2015 - Scouting for Food - Help collect food for hungry families in your area by participating in Scouting for Food.   All food collected can be taken to a local pantry or Kroger store and the food will be given to a pantry that serves that county.   Kroger will provide bags and stickers to help with collection as well as sell pre-packaged bags in store.  Click here to record items and service hours and we will record the hours to the national site for you and send your Scouts free patches!

March 28, 2015 - Crossroads of America Council STEM Program Day! - Boy Scouts are invited to participate in this unique STEM-focused day! Register for STEM-based merit badge programming with the following Indianapolis community partners: IU School of Dentistry, Indiana Diabetes Research Center at the IU School of Medicine, Marian University Nina Mason Pulliam EcoLab and Microsoft. April 7-12, 2015 – Largest Pinewood Derby Track and Best in Show at the Indiana State Museum – Come race on the 120’ long two and half story track in the entryway of the Indiana State Museum. May 16, 2015 - Spring Webelos Activity Badge Day at Camp Belzer - Webelos Scouts are encouraged to attend this adventure filled day! Choose from a variety of workshops that are hands-on and fun, like our STEM focused Engineer workshop! Entire event is outdoors, so come prepared. Click here for the flyer. May 23, 2015 - 500 Parade
The Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America has volunteered their services to the “500” Festival since 1957.  This will be the 58th Anniversary of the parade.  This community project has grown through the years.  In 2014 there were over 600 scouts and adult leaders from the council assisting in the yearly event. The parade route is broken into 35 sections handled by various districts. 
Each Boy Scout and Leader is given a patch from the “500” Festival Committee and the Troop will receive a certificate of appreciation from the Boy Scout Parade Committee.  The patch will reflect the “500” Parade theme of “Celebrating the Stories of May”, and is designed by the Scout Committee. May, 2015 – Scout Days with the Indy Eleven – Check out the Indy's new soccer team!  Lots of fun for the whole family. Circuit of Fun Event!

Philmont Scout Ranch, the Boy Scouts of America's premier High Adventure™ base, challenges Scouts and Venturers with more than 214 square miles of rugged northern New Mexico wilderness. Backpacking treks, horseback cavalcades, and training and service programs offer young people many ways to experience this legendary country. 

Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America, organizes a Philmont Contingent annually. This trip includes side trips and travel times (dates may change slightly with air travel). We have reserved positions for 45 youth and 15 adults. Our Council will be traveling to Philmont as a group. Participant will be organized into crews of 12, possibly consisting of different unites and all adults who register will agree to provide leadership to all youth participants in their Philmont crew. All 60 positions are first come, first serve according to the Crossroads of America Council High Adventure Contingent Policy. In order to reserve a position, you will need to send the reservation form, below along with a deposit to the Golden-Burke Scout Center, 7125 Fall Creek Road North, Indianapolis, IN 46256.
