May 17-18, 2013 – Central Indiana Merit Badge University –   62 merit badges in more than 85 classes are now confirmed on the schedule, plus 3 adult training classes, and a Scuba BSA course, for the Merit Badge University program that will be held . Click here for more info.

May 18 & 19, 2013 - Scout Special for Qualifying at the Indianapolis 500 - The Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Boy Scouts of America have teamed up to provide Crossroads Council with an exciting opportunity! IMS is offering $15 qualification day tickets  for only $10 and for every ticket you buy, $5 will go towards the Camp Scholarship program for Crossroads of America Council.  Click here for more info.

June 7 or 8, 2013 - Volunteer Opportunity for ADA Tour De Cure – Volunteers needed for this great event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway!  Volunteers will get a free shirt and lunch as well as the chance to ride their bike on the track following their shift!   Click here for more info.

June 29, 2013 -  Marian County Fair and BMX Experience – Scouts can bring their bike and check out what it is like to ride on a BMX track and enjoy a day at the Marian County Fair.  Tickets are just $5 and include both.

August 2 -18, 2013 - Indiana State Fair –The Scouts will be at the Fair with our own area. Come by and check out all the new activities.  The Boy Scout space is between the Horse Barns and the Water Conservation Area.

September / October 2013 – Cub Scout Fun Days – New this year we are offering more Fun Days to make activities like Fishing, BB guns, archery, rope making, and more available at locations all over the council.  We will still have an event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway but there are great programs all over the place.  Look for all the dates and location on the council Activity page before the summer is out. Circuit of Fun Event!

November 2013 – Indiana Pacers – Come see the Pacers and get the best deal in town! For $12 (plus tax) you get a ticket to the game, shoot a free throw on Conseco’s main court, and hear a special post game talk by a player.  For an upgraded ticket you get a discount on that ticket, all the benefits of the $12 ticket plus a t-shirt, hot dog, chips and small Pepsi product. December 8, 2013 Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus  - Back by popular demand the Scouts will share the arena during this must-see family event that can only be witnessed at The Greatest Show On Earth!  Scouts are invited for a pre-show, all access event that will get them on the floor to meet performers, try on ringmaster jackets, see the elephants up close and be awe inspired! Circuit of Fun Event!

January 25, 2014 – Monster Truck Jam – Check out the action as these 10,000-pound monsters trucks come to town. All Scouts and their families will be given a free pit pass that will let you in before the general public to meet drivers and see the trucks!   Circuit of Fun Event!

February, 2014 – Indiana Ice – Discounted admission with lots of perks. All Scouts in uniform will have a chance to get on the ice and shoot a puck! Meet Big E. Foot, the Ice mascot!  Plus the Ice are giving each Scout a special collectors Indiana Ice item. Enjoy lots of fun games and activities!  Circuit of Fun Event!

March 16, 2013 – Supercross – This is an exciting, racing sport with specialized high performance off-road motorcycles.  They race on a dirt track with steep jumps and obstacles.  All Scouts will also receive a commemorative Supercross Poster! Circuit of Fun Event!

Late March or Early April – Largest Pinewood Derby Track and Best in Show at the Indiana State Museum – Come race on the 120’ long two and half story track in the entryway of the Indiana State Museum.   It is a impressive site.  Plus take part in the best in show if you car is built more fun design than speed.  Something for everyone at a great price!  Circuit of Fun Event!

May 2014 – Indianapolis Indians Game and Graduation Party – All Scouts can come out to enjoy a day at Victory Field, play special games and run the bases.  Or upgrade your tickets to the party package to get a meal voucher, enjoy some extra activities, meet players and get autographs.  Circuit of Fun Event!

Philmont Scout Ranch, the Boy Scouts of America's premier High Adventure™ base, challenges Scouts and Venturers with more than 214 square miles of rugged northern New Mexico wilderness. Backpacking treks, horseback cavalcades, and training and service programs offer young people many ways to experience this legendary country. 

Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America, organizes a Philmont Contingent anually. This trip includes side trips and travel times (dates may change slightly with air travel). We have reserverd positions for 45 youth and 15 adults. Our Council will be traveling to Philmont as a group. Participant will be organized into crews of 12, possibly consisting of different unites and all adults who register will agree to provide leadership to all youth participants in their Philmont crew. All 60 positions are first come, first serve according to the Crossroads of America Council High Adventure Contingent Policy. In order to reserve a position, you will need to send the reservation form, below along with a deposit to the Golden-Burke Scout Center, 7125 Fall Creek Road North, Indianapolis, IN 46256. Once you have reserved your spot, more information will be sent in September/October the year before your trip.
