Al White Memorial Trail

The Al White Memorial Trail is a 7.25 mile trek through Bradford Woods near Martinsville, Ind.  The trail also offers both 5.25 mile and 3.5 mile options.

The trail was named in remembrance of long time Scouter, Al White. White died in October 1963 following a propane gas explosion at a Holiday on Ice Show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Coliseum. The trail was originally dedicated in his honor on April 30, 1966. After 36 years of operation, the trail closed in 2002. Through a continued relationship between the Wundchenneu chapter of the Order of the Arrow and Camp Bradford, the trail will reopen on March 9, 2013, after a decade of inactivity.
