WELCOME TO THE OLD TRAIL DISTRICT!
Crossroads of America Council
Boy Scouts of America
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nations largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citzenship, and develops personal fitness.
The Old Trail District serves youth in Franklin, Union, Wayne and Southern Randolph Counties. Approximately 1000 scouts enjoy the view through the scouting year.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BSA!! 100 YEARS!!
On February 8, 1910, the Boy Scouts of America was incorporated by publisher W. D. Boyce. Boyce first learned about Scouting when a Scout refused payment for helping him through a fog. He was simply doing a Good Turn. For 100 years, Scouts across America have kept to that example, doing Good Turns daily. Today, we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of this great movement and begin our next 100 years of service.
Make sure to check the NEWS and TRAINING sections for more updates, many upcoming events will be posted there!
