Scouts and Scouters camp, drill and even fight right alongside their Civil War reenacting partners in a mock battle staged at the end of Saturday. It’s an immersion event in which Scouts and Scouting adults are introduced to what it was like to be in the service of their country during the epic struggle that has come to be know as the American Civil War.
