 Scouting For Food Minimize

A food collection campaign to help central Indiana's hungry

Scouting for Food will collect over 75,000 pounds of food to support needy families in central Indiana each year.  This is an annual service project in the council to do our "Good Turn".

This annual event will take place during two consecutive Saturdays in March.  During the first weekend, Scout units will do Door to door collection.  The collections will then be taken to a local pantry or community food bank.  On the second weekend, volunteers will be out at the Kroger stores to collect food and purchased pre-packaged bags.

Contact the Council office at (877)925-1900 for more information.

Don't forget that Scouting for Food counts towards service hours for Good Turn for Ameria
