Patch set description:
The center patch: Highlighting Garfield in a racecar and the crossed checkered flags both say Indiana. The flagpoles look like highways representing Crossroads of America. The outer patches have vintage racecars on them from different time periods of the past 100 years to help celebrate 100 years of Scouting. The background colors represent the 6 colors of flags used in the 500 mile race and are the ones on the 500 mile logo.
The white flag patch: 1910 to 1929 has a 1927 Miller front wheel drive car on it, also on the patch we have the USA and [crossroads] replication an older CAC patch
The Blue flag patch: 1930 to 1949 has a 1940s car on it.
The red flag patch: 1950 to 1969 has a 1952 car on it
The black flag patch: 1970 to 1989 has Bobby Rahal's 1986 car on it
The yellow flag patch:1990 to 2010 has Danica Patrick's 2005 car on it
The green flag patch: 1910 to 2010. This is the patch that will be on the uniforms of all Jamboree attendees. On this patch we are showing all of Crossroads Council camps, highlighting Belzer [I think the first camp] and it's 90 plus years of operation and the birth place of Firecrafter, then known as Central Indiana Council, now known as CAC.
