- All Summer and all year - Do something in the community and all of your members can earn their FREE Action Scout Patch! Be in a parade, have a booth at a community festival. Do your own activity or check out a one of the council tubs (Water Bottle Rockets, Fire Building and Marshmallow Blaster set are all available to check out for FREE!
- July 4 - Go downtown and enjoy the fireworks and check out the Indiana States Museum's Canal Family Fest from 4:30 - 9 p.m – FREE educational activities, games and the Indianapolis Admirals Model Ship & Boat Club, live music, hula-hoops there will be something for everyone at the Indiana State Museum on the downtown canal walk.
- July 15- 26 - Scout Days at Indiana Beach
- Bring your family, pack, troop or crew to Indiana Beach and get a great deal on on lots of fun. Scout and family members are only $17 (regularly $36.95) for the combonation ride and waterpark pass!
- July 25 -Brickyard 400 Scout package - Great deal on the legendary Brickyard 400!
- July 31 - Celebrating 100 Years — A Shining Light - On Saturday, July 31, 2010, the entire Scouting family will be able take part in a historic nationwide broadcast, "A Shining Light Across America," from the 100th Anniversary National Jamboree in Fort AP Hill, Virginia. Anyone with a high speed Internet connection can tune in online at www.ustream.tv/shininglight or on the Shining Light section of the BSA's Facebook page.
- July 31 - Potawatomi Day at the Eiteljorg Musuem - Learn about the Potawatmi culture through game, clothes, dance, music, art, drum and storytelling.

- July 31- August 8 - Scout Days at Holiday World
- Plan a family, pack, troop or crew adventure to Holiday World and get world class attractions and hospitality at a deep discount. August 8 - Gen Con VIP Workshop – Love games? Then check this out! Get special access to play and learn new games, meet industry experts and artist all with no wait. - August 13 - August 15 - The Adventure Base 100 , our 10,000-square-foot base camp of Scouting activity that is making its way across the country. Watch the following "Tales from the Trail" webisodes capturing the Adventure Base 100 experiences in Pasadena and San Diego.
- August 15 - Celebrate Scouting's 100th Birthday with Boy Scout Day at the Indiana State Fair! Visit one of the countries biggest birthday celebrations with tens of thousands of Scouts and alumni with the State fair's official Boy Scout Day at the State Fair. Come visit three special Scout areas that have more than 20 Scouting activity stations set up to help celebrate this once in a lifetime event. Better yet get your Pack, Troop or Crew to have your own special station for the day!
*Many Council events are done in conjunction with other groups or agencies and these events may have special registration requirements and/or limited seating because the public may have the option to buy tickets. Please register as early as possible to ensure that your unit or family has the best opportunity to enjoy these special Scouting opportunies.
