In 2008, you’ll see changes in how you get information from Crossroads of America Council.
First, The Crossroads newsletter has been changed to a quarterly, much smaller format. This “revamped” version of The Crossroads includes the information you asked for based on feedback and in-depth research—including more human interest stories about the things that make Scouting in central Indiana so worthwhile.
Meanwhile, a monthly e-newsletter supplements the printed version. e-Crossroads includes more of “the news you can use”—including general council information, dates and times of activities, program information, district information and fundraising information. Several different versions of this e-newsletter are offered to customize information for registered leaders, parents, Boy Scouts and Scouting alumni. All information presented in each month’s e-newsletter also is posted on the council Web site.
Registered leaders:
All registered leaders with a valid e-mail address on file receive the leader e-newsletter. If you need to update your contact information, please utilize the sign-up form link on the left side of this page. Be sure to add our domain (crossroadsbsa.org) to the allowed list in your spam filter.
Parents, Boy Scouts and Scouting alumni:
All parents, Boy Scouts, and Scouting alumni can sign up for customized newsletters by utilizing the sign-up form on the left side of this page. We welcome parents, Boy Scouts and alumni to get involved and stay up-to-date with important Scouting news.
Content delivered to registered leaders will be tailored specifically to meet their needs and will be slightly different than than the content sent to parents, Boy Scouts and Scouting alumni.
We believe these changes will ensure a timely delivery of what you need to know, more frequently. We look forward to serving you in new and better ways.
