New to Scouting

Be a Scout

Scouting is a family-based, year-round program positively affecting every area of a young person's life. Scouting provides challenge, adventure and lessons that last a lifetime. It is fun with a purpose – reinforcing values taught at home to help young people fulfill their potential. The program encourage participants to achieve a deeper appreciation for others, including peers, parents and other adults. Early in the Scouting experience, Scouts learn the value of serving others.
