2013 Prize Program
Every Scout that sells at least one items will earn a patch. Patches should be ordered through the prize ordering option in the Popcorn System by December 6. Units may order a participation patch for selling Scouts regardless of the unit's participation status in the "Reach the Summit" prize program.
"Reach the Summit" Prize Program
Wit the "Reach the Summit" Prize Program, Scouts have the freedom to choose the prizes they want with the choice of items from LEGO, Swiss Army, Coleman, Case, Carrera, Eureka Tents and more at multiple levels. Scouts can also earn a Crossroads of America Council voucher or Walmart gift card when they sell $1,000 of product or more. New this year! Scouts may combine rewards from lower sales levels for up to the amount they sold. See the prize program insert from the family guide for additional details about the prize program. Scouts in units that opt out of the prize program in favor of a higher commission are not eligible for these recognition items.
Bonus Reward from Crossroads of America Council
Scout who sell the amount indicated below between August 1 and November 2 (online, face-to-face, or both) are eligible (regardless if the unit opts out of the "Reach the Summit" prize program) for these rewards.
These rewards are in addition to any prizes for which a Scout qualifies in the "Reach the Summit" prize program
- Sell $600 - Receive a Zing Air ZX Crossbow
- Sell $1500 - Option 1 - Voucher for admission for two people to Holiday World / Splashin' Safari good for any day during the 2014 season.
- Sell $1500 - Option 2 - $75 Crossroads of America Council voucher that can be used for purchases in the Scout Shop, payment for trading post purchases at summer camp, and fees for Scouting activities offered by the council throughout the year. Vouchers expire on December 31, 2014.
College Scholarship Program
Scouts who sell at least $2,500 (either online, face-to-face or both) in one calendar year will be eligible to have 6% of his total sales investing into his own Trail's End College Scholarship account. Once a Scout is enrolled, 6% of all sales in following years are credited to the account and the account earns interest throughout the year.
Parents of Scouts must complete and submit the Trail's End scholarship form to enroll their child. If a Scout is already enrolled in the program, his parents must submit the completed for not only to enroll for the first time, but also to report subsequent yearly sales. Copies of the requested documents are required for processing. Please retain copies of any items that you submit. Forms and documentation should be submitted to Crossroads of America Council (firstname.lastname@example.org) for verification and approval. The council will submit forms to Trail's End on your behalf.
