Governor’s Luncheon for Scouting – December 12, 2011
The “Governor’s Luncheon for Scouting” is an annual event where guests are given the opportunity to hear from Indiana’s Governor about the direction of our fine state and the positive effects that Scouting is having in our communities. We come together to share the impact of Scouting’s values-laden programs and extend an opportunity for each of our guests to pledge their financial support to this premier youth development movement. Through the support of 400 volunteers and business leaders in our area serving as Vice Chairs and Table Hosts for this event our goal is to raise 65 percent of our Annual Friends of Scouting Campaign goal. The efforts of these individuals raise the necessary funds to continue offering a quality program to 35,000 Indiana families. We anticipate that over 2,000 business & civic leaders will again attend this prestigious luncheon.

The Annual Awards Dinner- April 30, 2012
The annual Awards Dinner recognizes area community leaders with awards developed by the Boy Scouts of America to honor individuals who have provided outstanding community service. Local and national awards include: Distinguished Eagle Scout Award, Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award and the Thomas W. Moses Good Scout Award. Gathering of Eagles
The annual Gathering of Eagles takes place in February or March of each year and recognizes those Scouts who earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the previous year. Several awards and scholarships are presented including: the Judge John Price, Outstanding Eagle Scout of the Year Award and Scholarship, the Friend of Eagle Award, and the Eagle to Eagle Award.

Marsh Cookout on the Circle
Every Scout deserves to go to summer camp. This special summer time lunch on the circle, sponsored by Marsh Supermarkets helps to raise awareness of Scouting and supports Scouting's Workership Fund that enables hundreds of Scouts to receive the financial support they need to attend Scout Camp each summer. This year $19,382.16 was raised to help send 1,000 Scouts to camp!
Scout Memorabilia Auction & Trade Show
Trade, buy, swap, sell, and barter. In its 16th year, this event has all sorts of Scouting memorabilia offered. Items ranging from Firecrafter and Order of the Arrow items, council shoulder patches, camp patches, handbooks, Jamboree patches & insignia, Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Girl Scout and Explorer stuff.
