The “Governor’s Luncheon for Scouting” is an opportunity to hear about the direction of Indiana from our Governor and learn how Scouting matters to our communities. Each year over 2,000 business & civic leaders will attend this prestigious luncheon to create public awareness of all of our programs and share the impact of Scouting’s character based programs.

In addition, Governor’s Luncheon for Scouting is our local Boy Scouts of America Council’s largest fundraiser of the year, and one of the largest luncheon events in the country. Each of our guests are asked to financially support our premier youth development movement. The luncheon raises more than $1 million each year to help offset the costs of providing character development programs, camps, training and much more to over 35,000 youth and 7,500 adult volunteers in central Indiana.

The efforts of our volunteers and donors is vital to our mission of creating tomorrow’s leaders and preparing our youth for whatever life may bring.
