Pack 28  Arlington, IN
The Arlington Webelos from Pack 28 have been very busy since they became Webelos in March. They visited with Mayor Bridges from Rushville in May, did a service project at the Rushville, that Mayor Bridges help to set up for them with the parks department. And they also visited Judge Hill of the Superior Court in Rushville. They also attended day camp at Bear Creek.
Looks like these young men are off to a great start with some great summer activities!

Read about Levi Weakley and his efforts to help a World War II Vet! As a side note, Sherman Williams, the World War II veteran Levi helped, passed away this spring. He is remembered for his life and efforts and our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Pack 241 Southwestern Shelby County.
Pack 241 had a very successful Blue and Gold Banquet on March 10th, collecting over 125 items of food for The Salvation Army. With just 22 Scouts in our pack the turn out was wonderful.  We had over 150 guests celebrate Scouting. Pack 241 had support from our community in the way of items to be raffled off.  We earned enough money at our banquet to send all of our Scouts to day camp. For the past several years our local auctioneer John R Scott has donated his time for our cake aution. We had 18 cakes baked by Father/Son. Our cakes earned $604.00.
Great Job Pack 241 Scouts, Leaders and Parents.

Troop 250 of Shelbyville, IN
ScoutMaster Scott Barker led Troop 250 on a winter weekend at Camp Woodsmoke Feb 23/24/25 and had 28 of 33 boys participate in the outing! The Pedro Patrol planned the meals and the troop had their fall planning meeting while there. Using the platform of self-direction the boys learn strong leadership roles by planning all their events far in advance, working together to decide civic service projects, and deciding merit badge goals for them to achieve. Scouts Rock!!!
