District Award of Merit - The most prestigious award a District can bestow on a leader who has shown exemplary effort in promoting scouting in the District while displaying a unfailing attitude. Actively involved in many scouting initiatives.

District Legacy Award - Originally the Maude Alexander Award and then the Scouter Memorial Award, this award is given to up to three individuals who have shown great effort and unending energy in supporting the goals of Scouting at the District level.
Knowledge, Knowledge, Knowledge... Maude Alexander was an active and energetic Scout leader who was in the Gemini District. Eventually the Gemini District and the Three Rivers District merged to form our Iron Horse District.

Commissioners Spark Plug Award - Given out by the District Commissoner to a select few individuals who have distinguished themselves with the service to Scouting they provide.

Spirit Award - Given to up to three individuals who have shown overwhelming enthusiasm in their efforts and work in the Scouting community.

Guiding Light Award - Each unit is allowed to nominate and have awarded a leader in their unit who has been instrumental in the success of their Scouting year.

5th Wheel Award - Given to all individuals who have helped in facilitating Pinewood Derbies for units other than their own. If you know of someone or have yourself done this contact Steve Burris so this award can be provided as appreciation for those efforts.
