The best time of year to recruit new Explorers is the first two months of the school year. That's when yound adults are joining football, band, drama club, yearbook staff ... why not participate in a Career Exploring Post, too.

The Career Exploring Office conducts career interest surveys of area high school students each school year. Contact information if available to Participating Organizations to invite those young adults interested to attend an Open House to learn about the Post's program.

Utilizing the survey data is only one method to recruit new Explorers. Some Post Advisors visit schools personally to talk about Exploring, others send leters to guidance counselors explaining their company's Exploring program, still others post flyers in area schools promoting their Open House.
