Youth Career Interests
For over two decades the Career Exploring office has conducted career interest surveys of area high school students. Based on these results, career programs are developed to help students learn about careers of interest. As far back as 1992, the twnety-three of the top twenty-five careers have remained the same. Sometimes careers change order a little, some years nursing is at the top, other years teaching is at the top. Although there are nearly 200 careers on the survey, 50% of all responses fall into these top tenty-five careers.
