2010 NED Scouters recognized
The annual Northeast District Recognition Dinner took place on Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 in the Training Center at Camp Belzer.  Here are our District, Crew, Troop, and Pack Units/Leaders who were recognized for their achievements during the past year.

2010 NED Spring Camporee ready for take-off
The annual Northeast District Spring Camporee is in its pre-flight check and is scheduled for take-off over the weekend of April 9-11 at Mount Comfort Airport.  Check out the NED Spring Camporee page.  Camporee information and unit registration are available now.  Scouts interested in flying must register with EAA Young Eagles.

2009-2010 NED Year of Training
Northeast District Training Chair has put together a calendar of training available to all NED Scouters for the years 2009 and 2010.  This calendar is in a PDF flyer which can be viewed/saved/printed by all NED Scouters.

District Eagle Scout Boards of Review Sept 2009 - Dec 2010 
Check this newly revised PDF Calendar, which incorporates new National requirements for Eagle Candidates, for the dates of Northeast District Eagle Board of Review through December 2010.  Consult the same calendar document when scheduling the NED Advancement Committee Chair approval of your Eagle Leadership Service Project proposal.

2009 Eagle Leadership Service Project Workbook & Rank Application
Effective 01 August 2009, all Eagle rank candidates must use the new 2009 editions of the Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project workbook and Eagle Rank Application.  Both forms are fillable PDF documents using Adobe Reader (free software).  For the PDF 2009 workbook, please click here, and for the PFD 2009 Eagle Rank Application, please click here.  The new Crossroads of America Council Eagle Candidate Form is to be used by references for Eagle Candidates after December 31, 2007.

2009 NED PINEWOOD DERBY RESULTS
On Saturday, May 2nd, Allisonville Elementary School and Pack 282 (led by Cubmaster Rick Cass) hosted the annual Northeast District Pinewood Derby.  40 Scouts representing the best of the best of the Northeast District raced their home-made vehicles at break-neck speeds down a "fast track" with Pack 520 Cubmaster Ian Parent calling the race.  Click here for the (.pdf) racing statistics sheet.  View a photo of the WINNERS!
