District Awards

Each year, the Committee of the Northeast District requests that all packs, troops, and crews recognize the fact that their adult leaders devote a lot of their "copious spare time" to the youth of this district and council.  The Walter Schuchmann Youth Leadership Award is given by the Crossroads of America Council and the Indianapolis Veterans' Day Council on November 11th of each year.  The Silver Beaver and Young American awards are given by the Crossroads of America Council at the University of Scouting in January of each year.   The other awards are given by the Northeast District at the NED Adult Recognition Dinner in February of each year.  Please note the due dates of each award so that our deserving leaders can be properly recognized!

2010 NED Scouters recognized
The annual Northeast District Recognition Dinner took place on Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 in the Training Center at Camp Belzer.  Here are our District, Crew, Troop, and Pack Units/Leaders who were recognized for their achievements during the past year.
