SCHEDULED FOR JUNE/JULY
2009 NED Fall Camporee "CSI Red Wing" at
Red Wing Scout Camp
The annual Northeast District Fall Camporee will take place over the
weekend of October 9-11 at Red Wing Scout Camp in
Muncie, IN.
The Scouting theme is
"CSI RED WING". Crime
scene, Police station, Trace & Prints Labs will be features at this
camporee Solve the crime while fulfilling some
requirements for the Chemistry and Fingerprinting
Merit Badges. All-points-bulletins will be posted soon.
2009
NED PINEWOOD DERBY RESULTS
On
Saturday, May 2nd, Allisonville Elementary School and Pack 282 (led
by Cubmaster Rick Cass) hosted the
annual Northeast District Pinewood Derby. 40 Scouts
representing the best of the best of the Northeast District raced
their home-made vehicles at break-neck speeds down a "fast track"
with Pack 520 Cubmaster Ian Parent calling the race.

The
annual Northeast District Recognition Dinner took take place
on Wednesday, February 11th, 2009 in the Training Center at
Camp Belzer. Many of our District, Crew, Troop, and Pack
Leaders were recognized for their achievements during the past

p.m. to 8:15 p.m. on the
second Wednesday of each scholastic month
(August - May) in the Gyro Training Center of Belzer Scout Camp. Roundtable is an excellent
opportunity to exchange ideas about creating an ideal year of
Scouting:
