Training for volunteers helps ensure
successful programs. All leaders should be trained to meet Quality
Unit objectives as well as to help all adult leaders feel comfortable
in their particular role. Units and leaders can access general and
leader specific training in several ways.
For (PDF) information on the
SM/ASM Specific Training to be given on Saturday, October
30th, at NED Fall Camporee, click

1. Visit the Council's Training webpage
(above) for resources offered in other Districts as well
as for a complete description of training requirements and
opportunities. The BSA National and the Crossroads of America
websites offer several on-line training courses that can be taken in
the privacy of your home. Print the certificate at the end of
each course to give to your unit training coordinator and
District
Training Chair.
2. Host training programs in your unit - work
through your Unit Trainer or contact Ian Parent, the
District Training Chair.
Check our
