2008 Pioneer District Popcorn Kickoff!

The 2008 popcorn kickoff will be held August 11th 6:30pm at St. John UCC, 11000 East Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229.  There will be information about the 2008 Boy Scout popcorn fundraising drive.   All popcorn Kernel's should attend for their respective crew, troop, or pack! Map Link here

ANNUAL PIONEER DISTRICT KICKOFF!

August 14th @7:30pm
 Irvington Presbyterian Church
55 Johnson Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46219
 (Audubon and Washington Streets behind the library).

 There will be many displays and a great deal of information available.  Information on everything from popcorn to camping to awards and much more will be at the Kickoff for you to bring back to your pack, troop, or crew.  The new adult applications will also be available for you to take.  Please plan to attend.  If you can not attend please ask someone from your pack, troop, or troop to go!

The national office has issued new youth and adult applications.  Going forward these are the applications that need to be used.  They are available at the Scout office.  They will also be available at the Council Kick Off (July 15, 6:30, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) and our District Kick Off/Roundtable (August 14, 7:30, Irvington Presbyterian Church).  I have included in this email excerpts from the latest materials sent to our Registrar.  It is important that you familiarize yourself with the following changes and share this information with your pack, troop, and crew leadership.  I have highlighted important passages.
