BALOO Training Opportunities

Multiple Dates

Packs and Webelos Den overnighters require a leader that has completed a course called Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO). Here are the upcoming dates:

  1. June 8-9 at Camp Belzer,
  2. August 3-4 at Camp Belzer, or
  3. November 9-10 at University of Scouting

Roundtable is a every month meeting for all registered leaders and parents, for fellowship, information, training and trouble-shooting. Please join us and find out what is happening in the Bear Creek District!

Bear Creek District Roundtable meets on the SECOND Thursday of the month at the New Heights Christian Church, 2752 West State Road 44 Connersville, IN, at 7:00pm (go around to the back to enter).

May 9th Roundtable is set to get you geared up and thinking about your camping season! We will have several mini-sessions about different ways to incorporate FUN into your outings. So come join the fun at roundtable!

Committee Meetings

Are you interested in helping with an event or assisting the committee to build and strengthen Bear Creek District? If so, we would love to have you at this meeting. We have several chair positions for events that need filled and we can always use additional members for our committees too.

Bear Creek District Committee meets on the FIRST Thursday of the month at Peace Lutheran Church, 701 W 3rd St, Connersville, IN 47331, from 6:30-8:00pm.

Eagle Board of Reviews & Project Approvals

Eagle Scout Board of Reviews and project approvals occur every second Thursday (in the Connersville area), third Tuesday (in the Wayne County area), and fourth Tuesday (in the Shelbyville area) of each month as needed.
