Programs for Scouts 11-20 | Crossroads of America Council, BSA

Be Prepared.

It’s more than a motto, it’s a way of life.

For more than a century, the Boy Scouts of America has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. We believe – and, through more than a century of experience, know – that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible and productive society.

Programs for 5-10 year old boys and girls

Cub Scouts is for boys and girls, kindergarten to 5th grade. It is a program where youth develop the foundations for leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness through fun activities involving parents and legal guardians.

Why Scouting?

From the beginning, Scouts learn the Scout Oath and Scout Law. These fundamental principles of Scouting guide young men and women to make moral and ethical decisions for the rest of their lives.

Scout Oath

On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law

A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.
