Skilled Trades Career Exploring is a hands-on program open to young men and women from the 6th grade to 20 years old with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of Skilled Trades

You will participate in hands-on projects to give you a real feel for whether this career is the right one for you. You will learn about the educational requirements for a successful career in Skilled Trades and the steps you can take now to prepare and position yourself.

Are you interested in learning more about Indianapolis Power & Light (IPL)? The IPL Post engages Explorers by having professionals come speak and the youth get the opportunity of touring different areas of the facility to see how each job works together. This is the second year for this experience and it is a very exciting opportunity for the youth!
